Driving Directions

From Santa Rosa & Hwy 101 North:
Follow Hwy 101 North to the River Road/Guernville exit,  just north of the Wells Fargo Center in Santa Rosa. Turn right on Mark West Springs Road. Follow approximately 9 miles to blinking light. Turn left on Petrified Forest Road and proceed 1¼ miles to winery entrance. Hans Fahden is approximately 75 minutes from San Francisco.

From Calistoga:
From the intersection of Hwy 29 and Hwy 128 proceed one mile to Petrified Forest Road. Turn left at the More for Less Market and follow the winding grade 2 miles to the top of the hill. You will see a landmark Hans Fahden sign indicating that you have one more mile ahead to the entrance marked with three blue flags.

From East Bay or Hwy 80:
It is recommended to take the Silverado Trail in the Napa Valley. Turn left on Deer Park Rd. back to Hwy. 29. Turn right on Hwy 29 to Calistoga, bypassing St. Helena.

Entrance is marked by a large wine barrel and 3 flags. N 38° 33.734 Minutes W 122° 37.853 Minutes.

* Do not turn right when you see the first sign located along the side of the Mountain Home Ranch Rd. Continue straight on the Petrified Forest Rd for one additional mile.
